No matter where you live in this world, you are susceptible to at least one type of natural disaster hitting your area. From wildfires and flooding to earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornados at some point, you are going to have to deal with the consequences of one of these types of disasters.
There can be a very short window of time between what you are doing right now and when a disaster occurs. You aren’t going to have time to be able to reach out for supplies or to make a plan of action. You don’t want to end up in a panic because you aren’t sure what to do or because you know you lack skills or supplies.
Don’t wait until something has occurred to find out who you can count on. Remember, your supplies will run out fast if you are helping those that weren’t prepared.
